Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark will purchase 20,000 Bitmain mining machines for $32.3 million
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark has purchased 20,000 Bitmain mining machines at a price below the market rate. CleanSpark stated that through discount vouchers, the price of the mining machines was reduced by 25%, and it is expected to purchase 20,000 new Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro+ machines for $32.3 million, equivalent to $13.25 /TH, which is lower than the market price of $15.09 /TH.
After installation, CleanSpark's Bitcoin mining capacity will increase from 6.6 EH/s by 2.44 EH/s to 9.04 EH/s, an increase of 37%, with expected staggered deliveries from the manufacturer by the end of May. CleanSpark plans to reach a computing capacity of 16 EH/s by the end of 2023. (source link)
