Taiko will deprecate the alpha-2 testnet in 10 hours and launch the alpha-3 testnet

ChainCatcher news, based on zkRollup, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Taiko announced that it will deprecate the alpha-2 testnet in 10 hours and launch the alpha-3 testnet, which implements many fixes, improvements, and new components.

The alpha-2 testnet introduced permissionless proof, with 194 independent validators participating in the validation, and over 144,000 wallet addresses generating more than 1.5 million transactions. Activities regarding the calculation of rewards for validator expenditures will be announced later, and the NFT badges intended to commemorate participation in certain activities of the alpha-1 testnet will be postponed to a non-ephemeral network, possibly the Taiko mainnet.
