Today at 12 PM / 3 PM Eastern Time, the community snapshot voting for RNP-002 Layer 1 network expansion and RNP-003 core team's resource acquisition and allocation, as well as funding, will open. As outlined in the approved Render Network proposal process in RNP-000 (V2), the voting period will last for 72 hours and will end on April 6 at 12 PM Pacific Time / 3 PM Eastern Time.
Voting will be a simple majority vote, with no restrictions on the total number of votes, supply, etc. All tokens held in liquidity positions on exchanges will not be eligible for the given vote. Voters will need to provide tokens in their Layer 1 or Layer 2 wallet connected to Snapshot in order to vote.
If the proposal is approved, the RNP will be numbered accordingly and officially added to the pending RNP database for further processing. The RNP will then be reviewed by the team, which may take 1-7 days before entering a live pending state.
