Euclid Software Development Kit with Currency Framework

Constellation Network has created a "quick start" framework that includes a set of tools to simplify and accelerate project teams' development. The Constellation SDK, nicknamed "Euclid," is designed as a set of scalable components that enable developers to seamlessly integrate common standards into their projects while focusing on their own business logic and use cases.

According to Engineering Vice President Alex Brandes, "Since the documentation was released last summer, [Metagraph] development has become possible, but accessing these tools in our core codebase has not been easy. The SDK aims to simplify development by abstracting much of the internal structure of the system and exposing specific functionalities that allow teams to write their own business logic while inheriting common standards."

The Euclid SDK features a Currency Framework, which is the first in a series of micro-frameworks designed to help developers quickly get started with inherited common standards. The Currency Framework allows project teams to mint their own tokens using Constellation Network's Metagraph token standard "out of the box." The quick start framework enables developers to easily launch development clusters using developer dashboards and telemetry tools.

Alex continued, "Due to the microservices architecture of Hypergraph, local development has been particularly challenging in the past. Creating a minimal development environment requires starting and configuring multiple node clusters to interact correctly. The primary goal of this initial version of the SDK is to simplify that process so that anyone can easily start their own local development environment."

As more features around data validation and Metagraph interoperability come online, additional frameworks will be added throughout the year.

Launching Metagraph Tokens

The Euclid SDK provides Web3 developers with a fast and configurable way to launch tokens on the network.

HGTP Economics: Large-scale implementation of generative token economics in verification nodes and the hypergraph of Metagraphs

This white paper outlines a general framework and model for navigating HGTP economics around DAG token utility, implementing Metagraphs, and how to steer it for all stakeholders.

The white paper discusses metrics measured on-chain, with the aim of releasing token economics into governance in future eras. During this period, peer-to-peer transactions and verification data will remain free as we see the adoption of the protocol.

Parameters such as units, computational costs, multipliers, and tips/base fees can be used to predict the costs of deploying Metagraphs and sending snapshots. Metagraphs can create their own networks using token economics to drive the adoption of products and services while linking network utility to fiat revenue and data-driven insights.

The first era focuses on opening the network to Metagraphs. We will continue to measure the utility of the network and determine its impact on the token economics of future eras in 2023.

Rosetta is an open standard designed to simplify the integration of blockchains with exchanges and other third-party services. Cryptocurrencies running on their own mainnet must integrate Rosetta to be listed on tier-one exchanges like Coinbase and Binance.

At the launch of Era 1, most of the required Rosetta endpoints have been implemented, with only a small subset needing complete transaction history without the coverage of the block explorer API we have been using. The team is ready to implement solutions for this subset, which will begin after the SDK release.

According to Alex, "The current level of Rosetta support is sufficient to continue discussions about integration with exchanges, which is why we have always viewed it as an important milestone."
