ChainCatcher news, according to a document submitted on Thursday, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed the deadline for Fidelity's Ethereum spot resolution to March 5.

In this regard, the SEC stated: "The Commission believes it is necessary to designate a longer period to take action on the proposed rule change in order to have sufficient time to consider the proposed rule change and the questions raised therein." Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart commented: "This move is completely in line with expectations; in my view, the truly important date is late May."

It is reported that Fidelity applied for an Ethereum spot ETF last November.
