Etherscan: 95% of transaction activity on major EVM chains in the past few weeks has been inscription transactions

2023-12-21 09:10:04

ChainCatcher news, according to Etherscan monitoring, 95% of the transaction activity on major EVM chains in the past few weeks has been inscription transactions.

In this regard, it was also mentioned that BRC-20 tokens (text inscriptions) gradually gained attention in April 2023. Inscriptions were originally a way to create tokens on Bitcoin. This is a process of "engraving" data (text, images, videos, etc.) onto each satoshi—the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
