Ethereum's latest ACDE meeting: EIP-2935 and EIP-3074 will be included in the Pectra upgrade

2024-04-12 10:45:57

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko summarized the 183rd Ethereum Core Developer Execution (ACDE) call, where EIP-2935 and EIP-3074 have been confirmed to be included in the Pectra upgrade; EOF and EIP-7623 are in the CFI (Consider For Inclusion) category, with a final decision expected soon; EIP-7667 and Verkle migration have entered the CFI category for the Osaka upgrade.

It is reported that with EIP-3074, users can sign messages with a private key that contains their intent. The message is then included in the caller's on-chain transaction. The caller uses the signed message and the AUTH opcode to control the user's account, and with AUTHCALL, it can perform actions on behalf of the user.
