Marathon Digital: Produced 616 bitcoins in May, increasing holdings to 17,857 BTC

ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining company Marathon Digital Holdings released its Bitcoin production and mining operations report for May, with the number of blocks won increasing by 32% month-over-month, from 129 blocks to 170 blocks, and its share of available miner rewards growing from 3.2% to 4.2%. In May, 616 Bitcoins were produced, a decrease of 27%. BTC holdings increased to 17,857 BTC; as of May 31, 2024, total cash and BTC amounted to $1.5 billion.
