Data: Nearly $1.5 billion in cryptocurrency will be unlocked in August

ChainCatcher news, nearly $1.5 billion worth of cryptocurrency will be unlocked in August, with 1 billion XRP (valued at $609 million at current prices) unlocking on August 1, accounting for a large portion of the total unlock.

Since 2017, Ripple has unlocked 1 billion XRP on the first day of each month. It uses two main wallets, Ripple (24) and Ripple (25), to distribute the unlocked tokens evenly each month.
