Tether mints $2 billion USDT on Ethereum

ChainCatcher news, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, Tether has minted $2 billion worth of USDT on Ethereum and transferred $500 million of USDT to Binance in the past 30 minutes.

ChainCatcher previously reported that the stablecoin issuer Tether announced on social media that within a few hours, Tether will coordinate with well-known third-party exchanges for on-chain conversions, converting part of its USDT cold wallet from different blockchains to USDT on ETH. During this process, the total supply of USDT will remain unchanged.
