Powell: I don't think anyone currently expects interest rate hikes as a baseline
Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated at the press conference that he believes no one currently expects interest rate hikes as a baseline expectation. "Some people think we should pause here and see how things unfold. Others believe we should lower rates once more or even more than that."
