Bitmine bought 32,977 ETH last week and currently holds 13.08 billion dollars in ETH

According to PR Newswire, Bitmine announced today that the total value of its held crypto assets, cash, and "potential project" investments has reached $14.2 billion. As of 9 PM Eastern Time on January 4, the company's crypto asset holdings include:

• 4,143,502 ETH
• 192 BTC
• A $25 million equity investment in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) classified as a "potential project"
• And $915 million in cash.

Bitmine holds 3.43% of the total ETH supply (120.7 million ETH).

Bitmine's Chairman and Fundstrat analyst Thomas "Tom" Lee stated, "We are optimistic about Ethereum's prospects in 2026, thanks to multiple positive factors: increased support from the U.S. government for the crypto industry, Wall Street's embrace of stablecoins and asset tokenization, the growing demand for identity verification and provenance proof in an increasingly complex AI era, and the younger generation's accelerated adoption of crypto assets. Additionally, the surge in commodity and precious metal prices in 2025 also indicates a favorable trend for crypto asset prices in 2026—cryptocurrencies often move in tandem with metal prices."
