The Trump family's cryptocurrency project WLFI plans to launch a foreign exchange platform called World Swap

2026-02-12 14:51:20

The co-founder of the Trump family-associated crypto project World Liberty Financial, Zak Folkman, stated that they plan to launch a foreign exchange platform called World Swap, as part of its USD1 stablecoin ecosystem.

Folkman mentioned that World Swap aims to simplify the cross-border transfer process, challenging the high fees of traditional remittance service providers, which range from 2% to 10% per transaction, allowing users to send and receive digital dollars in a manner similar to mainstream payment applications. Folkman stated that more details will be announced later this month at an event held at Mar-a-Lago.
