Crypto.com received conditional approval from the U.S. OCC and plans to apply for a federal national bank charter

Cryptocurrency trading platform Crypto.com announced on Monday that it has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to apply for a federal charter for a national bank license in the future.

This approval will allow Crypto.com to offer digital asset custody and staking services under a federal regulatory framework.
