U.S. stock market opens, Dow rises 0.45%, storage stock Micron Technology rises 6%
According to Gate market data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.45%, the S&P 500 index rose by 0.57%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 0.76%. Storage concept stocks continued to rise, with Micron Technology up 6%, SanDisk up 3%, and Western Digital up 3.5%. However, Paypal fell by 10% after the earnings report was released.
