Binance Alpha will remove the following tokens from the recommended list on January 29, 2026, at 14:00: WIZARD, SHOGGOTH, G, FWOG, UFD, BRIC, UPTOP, PORT3, XNAP, MORE, BOMB, BOOST. Users can still sell these tokens on Binance Alpha.

Binance Alpha 2.0 has completed the contract swap for Port3 Network (PORT3). The swap of the old and new tokens has been conducted at a ratio of 1:1. The deposit service for the new PORT3 tokens is now open. Binance Alpha 2.0 has opened trading for Port3 Network (PORT3) on November 26, 2025, at 15:00 (UTC+8).

According to the official page, Binance Alpha is now live on Port3 Network (PORT3).

According to the official disclosure from Port3 Network, the project has initiated a token migration plan following an attack to ensure ecosystem stability and protect user assets.According to the migration plan, all tokens will be migrated at a 1:1 ratio, and users will not incur any losses. Centralized exchanges will also carry out the same migration operation. The new tokens will be exclusively launched on the BNB Chain. Port3 Network stated that it announced the migration of all $PORT3 liquidity from Ethereum to BNB Chain back in April this year, and the new token contract will only be deployed on the BNB Chain to enhance security. To offset the impact of unauthorized minting, the team will burn a total of 162.7 million PORT3 tokens, ensuring that the total supply remains unchanged.

Port3 Network released an incident report on a hacking attack on platform X, stating that it adopted the cross-chain token solution CATERC20 from NEXA Network. However, CATERC20 has a boundary condition validation vulnerability. After the token ownership is relinquished, the value returned by the function is 0, which exactly matches the ownership validation condition. As a result, the ownership check fails, allowing unauthorized access. This issue was not mentioned in the CATERC20 audit report. Since the Port3 token had previously relinquished ownership for greater decentralization, it is currently in this vulnerable state.

Binance will automatically liquidate the PORT3USDT U-based perpetual contract on November 23, 2025, at 14:30, and the trading pair will be delisted after the liquidation is completed. Starting from November 23, 2025, at 14:00, users will not be able to open new positions. It is recommended that users close their positions before trading stops to avoid automatic liquidation.

Port3 Network posted on social media that the full details of the incident have been clarified, and a follow-up plan is being developed, with the next steps to be announced as soon as possible.

In February, the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group carried out an attack worth $1.5 billion on the Bybit exchange. As of July, the group has laundered $1 billion of stolen funds, making it the largest cryptocurrency theft in history.Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that Tether is committed to collaborating with over 280 law enforcement agencies worldwide to maintain the integrity of the financial ecosystem, and reaching the $300 million milestone demonstrates the tangible impact of blockchain technology in combating financial crime.

ChainCatcher news, the T3 Financial Crime Unit, a cryptocurrency enforcement task force, stated that the department has frozen $300 million in illegal funds within its first year of operation. This achievement has garnered praise from international law enforcement agencies and demonstrates the self-regulatory capabilities of the stablecoin industry. The department was established at the end of 2024, jointly formed by stablecoin issuer Tether, blockchain network Tron, and blockchain intelligence platform TRM Labs, initially aimed at purifying stablecoin activities on the Tron network. Today, T3 has evolved into a global blockchain security enforcement model, marking a significant shift in the cryptocurrency industry's compliance and accountability mechanisms. The department is responsible for monitoring on-chain transactions and coordinating the seizure of high-risk assets, including "pig butchering" scams and the flow of funds from organized crime networks in Europe. Currently, its investigative reach spans five continents.Recently, the Brazilian Federal Police formally recognized T3's assistance in "Operation Lusocoin"—a major money laundering case—highlighting the increasingly important role of public-private partnerships in preventing crypto financial crimes.
