Superfortune: The leakage of the attacker's private key rather than address poisoning is not the work of an insider

Superfortune, incubated by Manta, recently released an update on the X platform regarding a security incident, stating that the attack was not carried out by internal personnel and that no team members were involved. The claim about the team secretly selling tokens is incorrect. The team has also not had any contact with Web3Port.The investigation confirmed that the attack was not due to address poisoning, but rather a leak of the signer's private key. The attacker independently held the private key and submitted a transaction with a forged address 43 minutes after the correct transaction. The forged address shares the first and last four characters with the correct address (starting with 0x70AE and ending with 5C15) to disguise itself in the Safe interface preview. The stolen funds are fully traceable and are currently stored in three cold wallets on Ethereum, containing approximately 2784 ETH, along with about 170,000 USDT that were cross-chain transferred out.The attacker also created a large number of counterfeit addresses and sent false transfer events to these addresses using Unicode-forged token symbols in an attempt to confuse tracking. This counterfeit address construction technique is the same as the method used when attacking this project. The attacker had pre-built a large-scale infrastructure, indicating that this was an industrialized operation rather than an opportunistic attack.

Analysis: Over the past 30 days, more than 100,000 BTC flowed into trading platforms while stablecoins accelerated outflow, increasing market selling pressure

Cryptocurrency analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated that the inflow of BTC to trading platforms and the outflow of stablecoins from trading platforms simultaneously release a "risk aversion" signal, indicating that selling pressure in the market is increasing. Data shows that the net inflow of BTC to trading platforms over the past 30 days has shifted from an extreme net outflow of 300,000 BTC at the end of March to an inflow of 103,000 BTC, meaning more BTC is being reintroduced to trading platforms in preparation for sale. During the same period, the price of BTC dropped from $80,000 to $73,700.Meanwhile, stablecoins are flowing out of centralized trading platforms at a record pace. The average net flow of stablecoins over the past 30 days has shifted from an inflow of $164 million per day at the end of April to an outflow of $153 million per day. This indicates that the liquidity available for purchasing BTC in the market is decreasing. Axel Adler Jr. pointed out that when BTC flows into exchanges while stablecoins simultaneously flow out of trading platforms, it creates an unfavorable structure of "increased supply and decreased demand," which is a typical risk aversion market condition. He believes that if the net inflow of BTC continues to exceed +100,000 BTC, the market may face a deeper correction; while stable signals would include BTC turning back to a net outflow or stablecoins flowing back into trading platforms.

Goldman Sachs CEO discusses the impact of AI: AI is more inclined to enhance productivity rather than directly eliminate jobs

Goldman Sachs CEO Solomon wrote in The New York Times that the market's concerns about AI triggering a "massive wave of unemployment" are exaggerated. The U.S. economy will continue to create more new jobs through technological transformation, just as it did during the past industrial revolution and the internet era. Solomon stated that Goldman Sachs expects AI or automation to affect about 25% of existing work hours over the next decade, with significant impacts on white-collar sectors such as banking, accounting, and law. Research from Stanford shows that entry-level positions in highly automated roles like software engineering and customer service have declined by 16% compared to less automated industries. However, he pointed out that AI is also creating new job demands. For example, since 2022, the construction of data centers in the U.S. has generated over 200,000 construction jobs. Goldman Sachs itself may reduce some compliance and account opening positions but will increase hiring for client-facing roles in banking, trading, and asset management. Solomon believes that AI is more likely to enhance productivity rather than directly eliminate 25% of jobs. He stated, "Technological advancement and cultural change do not occur simultaneously; being replaceable does not mean one will necessarily be replaced." He also called for the government and businesses to jointly promote large-scale job retraining to address the structural changes in the workforce brought about by AI.
