Binance stops providing wallet and related technical services to WazirX

ChainCatcher news, Binance announced that it has stopped providing wallet and related technical services to WazirX exchange operator Zanmai Labs, and WazirX users can no longer use Binance wallet services. Binance stated that as of the time of publication, Zanmai Labs has not fully withdrawn the assets in the Binance wallet used for WazirX operations. In addition, Binance indicated that this move does not affect organizations and businesses that use Binance wallet services.

Earlier reports indicated that Binance required the Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX to issue a pre-written "clarification statement" by the end of this month, retracting the statement made by WazirX co-founder Nischal Shetty regarding Binance's ownership of WazirX, while also requiring WazirX to remove all mentions of Binance from its terms of service, or else Binance may terminate its service agreement with WazirX by February 3.
