The ApeCoin community voted against the proposal to "launch a Web3 streaming platform."

ChainCatcher message, the ApeCoin community's vote on the "Launch of a Web3 Streaming Platform Supported by ApeCoin" AIP-222 proposal has concluded and was not passed. The proposal had a rejection rate of 49.33% and a support rate of 33.88%.

The proposal suggested launching a Web3 streaming platform that would allow content creators to distribute through their own networks, reach the community directly, gain a larger share of advertising revenue, retain their intellectual property, and share a certain percentage of advertising income with the community.
