ChainCatcher news, BNB Chain announced on platform X that on December 17, the opBNB network's daily transaction count exceeded 23 million, setting a new historical record, while the transaction count on BSC (BNB Chain) surpassed 14 million on the same day. However, both networks also experienced some congestion.
In addition, the real-time TPS on opBNB reached 610. It is reported that opBNB can handle up to 4000 - 5000 transactions per second. BNB Chain pointed out that the surge in the above data is mainly driven by the inscription craze.
