European stablecoin issuer Lugh halts issuance of EURL before MiCA takes effect
ChainCatcher news, the euro-pegged stablecoin issuer Lugh announced that it will stop issuing its EURL token. Lugh also stated, "We guarantee the redemption of existing euro to dollar currency before August 30, 2024."
The reason for the halt is the upcoming enforcement of the European MiCA, which requires compliance commitments.
