Chainflip: Preventing the Illegal Flow of Bybit Hacker Funds by Upgrading the Protocol

ChainCatcher news, the cross-chain bridge Chainflip officially announced that it will prevent the illegal flow of Bybit hacker funds within the protocol through a protocol upgrade. Chainflip stated that most of the code has been completed and needs to be tested and deployed to the network, with the upgraded version expected to go live within 24-72 hours.

BlockBeats previously reported that on February 22, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou posted on social media indicating that he had detected hackers attempting to transfer assets to the BTC network via Chainflip. He hopes that the cross-chain bridge project will help Bybit stop and prevent further asset transfers to other chains. Bybit will soon launch a bounty program for anyone who helps stop or track down the funds leading to their recovery.
