Kraken launches institutional-grade crypto prime brokerage service Kraken Prime

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken launched its comprehensive prime brokerage service Kraken Prime on June 3, 2025, designed specifically for institutional investors. This service integrates trading, custody, and financing functions into one platform, providing liquidity that covers 90% of the cryptocurrency asset market and supports over 20 global trading venues.

Kraken co-CEO David Ripley stated that as the regulatory environment becomes increasingly clear, more institutional investors are entering the crypto market, and Kraken Prime aims to meet these clients' high standards for execution quality and service.
