Powell: The Federal Reserve will decide future monetary policy incrementally, ending the consecutive rise in government bonds

ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell stated at a press conference on September 19 that policymakers will decide future monetary policy in a "meeting-by-meeting" manner, dousing market expectations for "more aggressive rate cuts." U.S. Treasury bonds experienced their first weekly decline since mid-August, with yields rising by 1 to 3 basis points on Friday, and the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield slightly climbed to 4.12%, marking the highest level in two weeks.
