Bankless releases the top ten cryptocurrency predictions for 2026

The crypto news and research platform Bankless has released its top ten predictions for cryptocurrency in 2026 on the X platform:

1. Bitcoin will break the 4-year cycle and reach a new all-time high;

2. Bitcoin's volatility will be lower than Nvidia's;

3. As institutional demand accelerates, ETF purchases will exceed 100% of the new supply of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana;

4. Cryptocurrency stocks will outperform tech stocks;

5. Polymarket's open contracts will reach new highs, surpassing levels seen during the 2024 elections;

6. Stablecoins will be blamed for undermining the stability of emerging market currencies;

7. The asset management scale of on-chain vaults (also known as ETF 2.0) will double;

8. If the Clarity Act is passed, Ethereum and Solana will reach new all-time highs;

9. Half of the Ivy League's endowment funds will invest in cryptocurrencies;
