Bitmine plans to hold 5% of the Ethereum supply by the end of 2026

2026-05-12 12:19:58

Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated that Bitmine purchased 26,659 ETH last week, a slower pace compared to over 100,000 coins per week previously, but still plans to hold 5% of the circulating supply of Ethereum by the end of 2026. Currently, the company's total Ethereum staking amount exceeds 4.7 million coins, with annual rewards expected to be around $352 million after full staking.

Tom Lee believes that if the closing price of Ethereum is above $2,100 at the end of May, it will validate that the "crypto spring" has arrived.
