Chain Catcher News, according to research published by the bot detection tool Jigger, a significant portion of Web3 activity is driven by bots, with GameFi projects being the most affected, where bots account for over 80% of some games' user bases.

After a thorough investigation of more than 60 blockchain projects in the field, Jigger's report identified 200,000 active bots. Jigger's analysis team noted that, on average, 40% of users in each Web3 game are bots, while legitimate users account for 60% of the activity.

Projects built on BNBchain appear to be the most impacted by viral bot activity, with some recording as high as 70% bot presence. For example, 55% of users in the BSC-based metaverse game Mobox have been identified as bots. (Source link)
