Former MicroStrategy CEO: Developing solutions for large enterprises to join the Bitcoin Lightning Network
According to ChainCatcher news and reported by CoinDesk, MicroStrategy Executive Chairman and former CEO Michael Saylor stated that the company's developers are exploring solutions that allow a large number of participants to join the Lightning Network, including enterprise applications of the Lightning Network: enterprise Lightning wallets, enterprise Lightning servers, and enterprise authentication.
It is reported that the Lightning protocol allows users to open payment channels with each other and exchange multiple transactions before settling on-chain, which helps to minimize fees and confirmation times. In the Bitcoin network, transactions typically take 10 minutes or longer to be confirmed. (CoinDesk)
