Chain Catcher news, Solana Labs announced a partnership with Android smartphone manufacturer OSOM (Out of Sight, Out of Mind) to jointly develop the upcoming new smartphone Solana Saga.

OSOM founder Jason Keats revealed that the phone will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, equipped with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Other features include the Solana Mobile Stack Seed Vault, which supports high-security Web3 applications, as well as the ability to develop Solana-based applications and other NFT and DeFi use cases using the Solana Mobile Stack SDK.

OSOM also announced the completion of a Series A funding round and will use the new funds to recruit software engineers, drivers, system architects, and firmware developers. (Source link)
