CME Group has officially launched Ethereum options

Chain Catcher News, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has officially launched Ethereum options. Tim McCourt, Global Head of Equity and FX Products at CME Group, stated: "With market participants anticipating the upcoming Ethereum merge, this is a potentially game-changing update. Interest in Ethereum derivatives is surging, and the new options contracts will complement CME Group's Ethereum futures, which have seen a 43% year-over-year increase in average daily trading volume."

Previously reported, on August 18, the CME Group announced plans to launch Ethereum futures options on September 12. (Source link)
