Chain Catcher news, Solana's NFT infrastructure Metaplex announced that it will launch the governance and utility token MPLX on September 20. NFT projects launched using the Metaplex protocol have the opportunity to receive an airdrop, and the snapshot has been taken. Additionally, Metaplex will open a proposal vote on Monday regarding the airdrop to collectors. Holders of MPLX can vote in the Metaplex DAO and directly participate in the future development direction of the protocol.

It is reported that Metaplex aims to create a "World NFT Protocol" by providing development tools and open standards for the NFT community, used for digital asset issuance and on-chain ownership.
