BCA Gallery x OKX NFT proudly presents Champ Medici x Dr Bombay NFT Gallery

Snoop Dogg (Dr. Bombay) and Cordell Broadus (Champ Medici) will showcase their NFT art collection for the first time at an offline gallery in Singapore.

With TOKEN2049 and the F1 Grand Prix happening concurrently, a large number of Web3 practitioners and celebrities have arrived in Singapore, making the streets of Singapore crowded in September. Amidst the festive crowd, a giant inflatable ape sculpture stands out, watching over the excited crowd at the bustling Mandala Club, which includes artists, musicians, investors, and other elites from various fields, all sharing a common label: members of the Web3 community.

Among the crowd, the well-known hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus are undoubtedly the most prominent figures. Snoop Dogg rose to fame at Ape Fest and is regarded by many as the godfather of Web3. His son, Cordell Broadus (Champ Medici), has led a new genre in the Web3 world driven by NFTs through releasing music NFTs on Cardano With Clay Nation.

As TOKEN2049 and the F1 Grand Prix converge in Singapore, Champ Medici has decided to showcase his and his father's NFT collection for the first time in Singapore. This exhibition will be co-produced by BCA Gallery and the OKX NFT marketplace, with special support from Zonff Partners, presenting a feast of NFTs for everyone.

The gallery presented by BCA Gallery is named "The Champ Medici x Dr. Bombay NFT Gallery," and will host a three-day NFT art exhibition at Mandala Club. The entire exhibition connects the NFT collection of Champ Medici x Dr. Bombay along a timeline of significant global Web3 events, allowing visitors to appreciate the artworks while gaining a more intuitive understanding of the development of Web3.

The gallery will hold an RSVP invitation day for guests and media on the evening of September 30, with the Champ Medici lounge on the third floor offering carefully prepared cold dishes, specialty cocktails, and a DJ. Notable cross-industry musicians such as Snoop Geek Squad, Steve Aoki, Russell Simmons, JJ Lin, and Feng Delun will be present. From October 1 to 2, the gallery will be open to the public from 11 AM to 9 PM for visits.

Both Snoop Dogg and Cordell Broadus are loyal followers of the Bored Ape NFTs, affectionately referred to as Dr. Bombay and Champ Medici. They are also investors and star IP combinations of Yuga Labs. BAYC, as one of the most successful NFT series in the Ethereum ecosystem, once ranked first on Opensea with a floor price of $400,000 at its peak. Just this past September, a Bored Ape was successfully acquired for $1.17 million, highlighting its collectible and investment value. Celebrities like Eminem, Madonna, and Stephen Curry are also holders of Bored Apes. This exhibition will showcase all rare Bored Apes and related derivative works by Snoop Dogg and Cordell Broadus.

In the exhibition hall, visitors can also see many other blue-chip NFT series, such as Cryptopunks, World of Women, Azuki, Moonbirds, Doggies, Theirsverse, Clay Nation, and the experimental and artistic decentralized curated NFT produced by BCA Labs—P01NT.

The curation of P01NT is a collaborative creation by the Digital Compound community, and the Crypto Art Driver is an on-chain native art project where holders can "refresh" to randomly generate phrases based on an on-chain vocabulary. This exhibition collects 36 phrases from the community to convey the common knowledge built by the community in a content matrix format.

Additionally, this exhibition features a thematic wall supporting "The Power of Women." This independent thematic exhibition wall is provided by industry partners such as Clay Nation, World of Women, Theirsverse, and NSMG. Notably, there is a collaborative project called "MetaSis," which is a continuous non-profit initiative co-launched by Steve Aoki x The Untamed vault, aimed at celebrating women entrepreneurs deeply engaged in Web3 and supporting decentralized charitable causes. Currently, MetaSis has collaborated with several female OG artists in its first phase, creating works based on original artist concepts and donating all sales profits to charity.
