Two Malaysian companies explore cooperation to develop a national public blockchain

According to Chain Catcher news, The Star reported that Malaysian e-government company MY EG Services Berhad (MYEG) has agreed to explore cooperation with Mimos Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd (MTSSB) to use Zetrix and Mimos blockchain technology as components for the development and operation of the national Layer 1 public blockchain, known as the Malaysian Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI). MBI is a key element of the national blockchain roadmap launched by the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) on August 9, 2022.

MIMOS Berhad is the national applied research center under the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), and Mimos Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is the commercial arm of MIMOS Berhad. (Source link)
