According to Chain Catcher news and reported by The Paper, the Shanghai Maritime Court recently held a seminar on "The Impact of Blockchain Technology Applications on Maritime Justice and Service Guarantee Needs," launching the "Blockchain Evidence Review Guidelines" and providing a release and interpretation of the compilation background and main content.

In recent years, the widespread application of blockchain technology has brought significant transformative changes to various industries. In the shipping industry, shipping companies, freight forwarding enterprises, port and terminal operators, and regulatory departments such as customs have launched pilot blockchain application platforms, exploring the establishment of platforms for bill of lading issuance, port operations, and government management based on blockchain technology, accelerating the innovative development of operational models in the shipping industry. In judicial activities, blockchain has great application potential in areas such as judicial evidence storage and cross-departmental data sharing and mutual trust due to its unique technological advantages.

Electronic evidence stored using blockchain technology has been recognized in judicial practice, and the evidence storage services provided by judicial blockchains and third-party blockchain platforms have greatly facilitated litigation activities. The "Blockchain Evidence Review Guidelines" provide relatively systematic review points for various types of blockchain evidence, focusing keenly on blockchain technology innovation. Blockchain technology has brought many conveniences and enhanced the credibility of electronic evidence.

At the same time, the verification function of blockchain evidence is continuously improving, exploring the identification rules for blockchain electronic evidence, which is beneficial for enhancing the efficiency and quality of electronic evidence identification and promoting the application of blockchain technology in the judicial field.
