Decentraland responds to the claim of only 38 daily active users: the statistics on smart contract interactions are inaccurate, with over 50,000 monthly active users in September
According to ChainCatcher news and reported by CoinDesk, DappRadar data shows that Decentraland had only 38 active users in the past 24 hours, while The Sandbox had 522 active users. Decentraland responded that some websites only track specific smart contract transactions but report them as daily active users (DAU), which is inaccurate.
Decentraland explained that the Decentraland Foundation defines active users as those who log in and then log out. According to statistics, Decentraland had 56,697 monthly active users in September, with 1,074 users interacting with smart contracts, 1,732 minting Emotes, selling 6,315 wearable items, 300 creators earning royalties, 161 community events created, and 148 DAO proposals.
