Aptos announced an overview of APT token economics: an initial total supply of 1 billion tokens, with 51.02% of the tokens allocated to the community

ChainCatcher news, Aptos officially announced the tokenomics overview. The initial total supply is 1 billion tokens, with 51.02% of the tokens allocated to the community. Among them, 410,217,359.767 APT held by the Aptos Foundation, and 100,000,000 held by Aptos Labs.

It is reported that these tokens are expected to be distributed over ten years: 125,000,000 APT will initially be available to support community categories for current and future ecosystem projects, grants, and other community growth initiatives; 5,000,000 APT will initially be available to support the Aptos Foundation's plans for the foundation category; 1/120 of the remaining tokens for the community and foundation are expected to be unlocked monthly over the next 10 years.
