The crypto hedge fund Edge Capital has raised $66.78 million for two DeFi funds
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, reported that as of October 19, a regulatory filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revealed that the crypto hedge fund Edge Capital Management raised $66.78 million across two DeFi-focused funds, with the company providing very little public information.
The documents show that since its launch on February 1 of this year, the U.S.-based Edge DeFi Fund LP has raised approximately $28 million from eight investors. The company plans to provide more than a year for this fund. Another fund, the Edge DeFi Offshore Fund, based in the Cayman Islands, has sold about $38.6 million to six investors since it opened for sale in early October 2021. According to the SEC filing, the company may plan to raise further funds for these two funds, as it has not set any limits on their fundraising targets (source link)
