Web3 drug discovery startup Druglike completes $3 million funding
ChainCatcher news, Web3 drug discovery startup Druglike announced the completion of a $3 million funding round, but has not yet disclosed the details of the investors.
The company was founded by pharmaceutical mogul Martin Shkreli, who was sentenced to seven years in prison for securities fraud. He stated that Druglike is not a pharmaceutical company but a blockchain/Web3 software company made up of bytes, bits, variables, and GitHub. Users can access its drug discovery platform for free without paying licensing fees, only needing to pay for the cloud computing power required to run the program, which currently supports ETH, stablecoin USDC, and Druglike's exclusive token MSI.
It is reported that Druglike is also working on building a distributed network for personal trading computation that anyone can participate in, similar to Bitcoin mining, although its platform is currently supported by AWS. (Source link)
