Layer2DAO was hacked and nearly 50 million tokens were stolen. It has now repurchased the portion that the hacker did not sell

ChainCatcher news, the Layer2DAO project on Optimism was hacked, with the hacker stealing 49.95 million L2DAO tokens by gaining access to Layer2DAO's multi-signature permissions and selling some of the tokens.

Layer2DAO stated that it has currently repurchased over 30 million tokens remaining in the hacker's possession using treasury funds. The price of L2DAO once dropped by about 90%. (Source link)
