Mastercard partners with cryptocurrency exchange BitOasis to launch a crypto debit card

ChainCatcher news, according to foreign media reports, Mastercard has reached a strategic partnership with the cryptocurrency trading platform BitOasis, expecting to launch a cryptocurrency-supported debit card in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in early 2023. BitOasis customers will be able to convert their held cryptocurrencies into fiat currency, allowing consumers to shop and pay easily at over 90 million merchant locations worldwide.

It is reported that the cryptocurrency trading platform BitOasis in the Middle East and North Africa announced last October that it had completed a $30 million Series B financing, led by Jump Capital and Wamda, with participation from Alameda Research, Global Founders Capital, Pantera Capital, Digital Currency Group, and NXMH.
