ChainCatcher news, venture capital firm Square Peg announced the completion of $550 million fundraising for its fifth fund, with investors including Australian pension funds Hostplus and AustralianSuper, as well as family offices, institutions, and endowment funds. Square Peg partner Tushar Roy stated that the new fund will closely monitor high levels of activity in the Web3 markets of Australia, Israel, and Southeast Asia.
It is reported that Square Peg participated in the $12 million Series A funding round for blockchain gaming infrastructure startup Lysto in August this year. (source link)
