ChainCatcher news, according to Forbes, Hong Kong Web3 payment company Reap announced the completion of a new funding round of $40 million, led by Acorn Pacific Ventures, Arcadia Funds, and HashKey Capital, with participation from Payment Asia, Hustle Fund, and Fresco Capital.

It is reported that Reap will use the new funds to develop infrastructure to facilitate payments between Web3 projects and traditional businesses, while establishing regional centers in Asia, North America, and Europe, and continuing to collaborate with cryptocurrency companies to build Web3 infrastructure to help them access traditional merchants and physical services. Related operations are expected to launch as early as January 2023. (Forbes)
