Public chain Sei releases white paper: introduces Twin-Turbo consensus and parallelized Cosmos chain
ChainCatcher news, the public chain Sei Network has released its white paper, "At the protocol level, Sei utilizes Twin-Turbo consensus and parallelization to enhance performance. Sei also features a native order matching engine and significant protocol improvements to push Tendermint Core to its speed limits." The white paper states that Sei Network introduces Twin-Turbo consensus to significantly improve block construction and processing times. Sei Network is also the first parallelized Cosmos chain, allowing for the simultaneous processing of independent transactions, thereby increasing overall throughput and reducing latency.
It is reported that in August this year, Sei Labs completed a $5 million seed round of financing, led by Multicoin Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, GSR, Flow Traders, Hudson River Trading, Delphi Digital, Tangent, and others. Sei Network is a Layer 1 blockchain built using Cosmos SDK and Tendermint, featuring a built-in Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) module. (source link)
