Asset management giant Franklin Templeton is considering launching other cryptocurrency strategies
ChainCatcher news, according to Blockworks, asset management giant Franklin Templeton, with assets under management exceeding $1.3 trillion, is exploring ways to bring more digital asset investment strategies to market since launching its crypto-focused Separately Managed Account (SMA) last month. Its head of digital assets, Roger Bayston, described digital assets as "frontier risk alternatives" and stated that the crypto products it offers in the future may take various forms depending on the evolution of the regulatory environment.
It is reported that Franklin Templeton launched its crypto-focused Separately Managed Account (SMA) in September, investing in the 10 to 15 largest digital assets, excluding stablecoins and meme coins, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both capped at 25% of the portfolio. (Blockworks)
