Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive: Seeking to complete the first batch of tokenized green bond pilot issuances within the year

ChainCatcher news, Hong Kong Monetary Authority Chief Executive Eddie Yue stated before attending the "FinTech Week 2022" that they are currently preparing the first batch of trial tokenized green bonds, aiming to complete the trial issuance within the year, hoping to become the world's first tokenized green bonds.

Eddie Yue mentioned that they are still researching the issuance method and amount of the tokenized green bonds with consultants, and the first batch will mainly be open for subscription by institutional investors. (Guandian)
