In October, the spot trading volume on cryptocurrency exchanges was only $543 billion, hitting a 23-month low

According to ChainCatcher news and data from The Block, the spot trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges in October was $543 billion, a decrease of nearly 26% compared to September ($733 billion), marking the lowest level since December 2020.

It is reported that the spot trading volume on the Binance platform in October reached $390 billion, accounting for approximately 71.8% of the total trading volume; the spot trading volume on North American exchanges in October totaled $78 billion, with Coinbase accounting for 60%, approximately $46.9 billion; the spot trading volume on European exchanges in October was only $17.7 billion, with Kraken accounting for 76%, approximately $13.6 billion.
