Bloomberg: JPMorgan Executes Tokenized Asset Transactions on Public Blockchain for the First Time

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, JPMorgan previously issued tokenized 100,000 Singapore dollars on Polygon and traded tokenized yen with Japan's SBI Digital Asset Holdings, which is part of the Singapore central bank's pilot program exploring the use of DeFi in banking.

Although this transaction is not a cryptocurrency transaction, it marks JPMorgan's first execution of a transaction on a public blockchain. Additionally, this transaction involved the use of a "modified version" of Aave. JPMorgan executives stated that they will continue to explore the use of other blockchain networks. (source link)
