ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin.com, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) may establish a regulatory department for the cryptocurrency market. In October 2022, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission released a new guidance document that defined different classifications for existing cryptocurrency assets, specifying which assets can be considered securities.
