Binance: FTT deposits have been reopened

ChainCatcher message, Binance stated on its official Twitter, "We have noted that according to the FTT unlock schedule, 100% of FTT has been fully unlocked since May 1, 2022. The large movements of FTT that occurred earlier are likely due to internal asset consolidation at FTX. We are in contact with the current FTX team for further clarification. Binance has reopened FTT deposits."

Earlier reports indicated that Zhao Changpeng tweeted that Binance had halted FTT deposits to prevent suspicious additional supply from potentially affecting the market, and Binance will closely monitor the situation. Zhao Changpeng suggested that other exchanges do the same for safety reasons, to avoid a situation similar to GALA. (source link)
