ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev has been ordered to remain in custody until February 20 of next year due to a Dutch court finding that he poses a flight risk.

Dutch prosecutors dismissed the argument that Tornado Cash is a decentralized protocol and that Pertsev cannot control it, claiming that it is actually the same company as PepperSec, and that Pertsev works for this company alongside other developers Roman Semenov and Roman Storm. In response, Pertsev's lawyer Keith Cheng told CoinDesk that he is "very disappointed" with this decision.

Previously, ChainCatcher reported in August that Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev was arrested by Dutch authorities in August on suspicion of assisting money laundering, and his appeal was rejected in September, meaning Pertsev will be detained at least until November 22. (source link)
